When He's with His Daughter
Prodigy: It was on her fifth birthday. Her daddy was on tour, and he had promised that he would be there for her birthday. Though she knew that he probably wouldn't come because of his job, she still had high hopes. When she saw that her dad wasn't there, you could see her entire mood change. She stopped smiling so much and started distancing herself from her friends. As the kids played in the background, you called him, fuming. When he answered you went off on him. “Hello?” he said. “You promised her you’d be here.” You heard him sigh over the phone as he was about to speak, but you cut him off. “Don’t sigh like that! She’s your daughter and your responsibility, you need to be here for her,” you said, ranting. You were about to continue, but he cut you off. “I’m in the drive way now,” he said. You heard a car’s engine and walked out to you guys’ drive way. Your daughter followed, wanting to see what happened, and with that her friends followed her. Soon your daughter heard the familiar sound of her dad’s car. He got out of the car, holding her favorite cake in his hands, but she couldn't wait. “Daddy!” she yelled, running towards him with open arms. He smiled, holding his arms out, ready to pick her up. As he did, you walked over and took the cake out of his hand kissing his cheek. When the party was back on, your daughter was happier than she had ever been. You walked over to him, smiling. “You made her day," you said, talking to him. “I know.”
Roc Royal: It was almost time for him to go on tour. Knowing that when he would leave, you and his daughter would be spending each and everyday together, he decided to give her one last day of time with her dad only. He took her to all of her favorite stores, and he bought her almost, if not everything that she wanted. She had gotten ice cream and ended the day on a high note go to the park and he ended up buying her a puppy too. When he came home, you weren't surprised to see her walking in with nothing, but ice cream in her hands, but he was struggling to get into the door with everything he bought her.
Ray Ray: He decided that before he went to visit his mom for a few days, he would take you and his daughter swimming. Gathering everything to go to the pool was difficult, especially since everyone had to go back inside the house twice. Once you finally got to the pool, you had to admit that all the waiting was worth it. Seeing Ray play with his daughter like he was a little kid was amazing. She hadn't learned how to swim yet, but that didn't stop them from having fun. She stayed in her float-y and they splashed each other and made the loudest noises possible, but seeing him play with his daughter was the cutest thing you had ever seen.
Princeton: They decided to have a movie week. Everyday for the rest of the week they would watch her favorite movies. Starting with Disney Princesses and ending with the most recent series you guys had been reading to your daughter, "Harry Potter". At first, you thought it was pretty silly, both of them would usually just sit there staring for hours at the TV until it was her bed time, but as the week went by you realized it was actually kind of sweet. On the last day, Saturday, you couldn't help but smile as you saw you guys' daughter lay on his chest, when both of them were asleep, with the final "Harry Potter" movie blasting through the TV. You turned the TV off, and picked up a blanket, putting it on the two most important people of your life.
EJ: He decided to take her on a small vacation, just the two of them. He took her to Disney World, one of the most magical places a kid could be. From all the pictures he sent and posted, you could tell that they were having an amazing time. There were pictures of them eating, riding on the rides. meeting Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Peter Pan, and some of her favorite Disney Princess. You knew that she wanted to live there when she came home and she could talk about was going back one day.
