[pm] If I were you, I'd clear my schedule from the 7-10pm timeslot this evening.
[pm] And I should do this why?
[pm] Could use a sparring partner if you're up for it.
[pm] I'm always up for sparring with you. When and where?
[pm] Jason isn't worth your time or effort.
[pm] How do you know I'm talking to Jason?
The clock and the canary // Babs & Dinah
It had been a long time since she had seen her friend. That was putting it lightly. That was paintint in much broader strokes than could be considered accurate, but Dinah preferred it that way lest she put too much weight on herself and become emotional. Now wasn't the time. She hadn't gone to see Babs since she had come back to Gotham, and it was getting to the point...no, it was beyond offensive. Barbara was her best friend, her sister, her partner. There was no excuse for snubbing her the way that she had- but of course, Dinah had her reasons. If she saw Barbara, Dinah would more than likely have to talk about what had happened to her- the abduction, the torture. Visions flashed in the Canary's mind that she didn't want to recall as she made her way towards the clock tower. Her leather jacket hid her arm wound, something else she didn't want to talk about. "So I'm going down there to...what? Talk about the weather?" Dinah thought to herself, sighing loudly into the darkness of Gotham's empty streets. She made sure to keep a keen eye out for anything or anyone that looked suspicious. Hatter's zombies were still out here scouting for blonde haired blue eyed girls.Tonight wasn't the night to bait them, not when she was on a personal mission. As much as it bothered her to take time away from said issue, friendship took priority. She just hoped that Barbara would understand, that she wouldn't think that Dinah had been avoiding her for any reason other than personal issues that had nothing to do with her. Thud...thid...thud...went her boots on the stairs, not very consipcuous but it didn't matter. Babs would see her coming and know it was her. Dinah began to think of excuses in her mind, things to tell her old chum that would hopefully ease the redhead's mind about her. Nothing occured to her that seemed acceptable. "Look's like it's the truth...then.." As if she would ever lie to her best friend, anyway. That would go against the grain. hard. Lying was never appropriate...unless you were trying to susprise someone. Like a secret birthday party. Dinah reminded herself to definitely throw Barbara a surprise birthday party this year. She was going to be better. A better friend, a better partner, a better woman. She wasn't going to let this trauma ruin her life any further. She was taking back control. "It's Dinah" She announced herself out of politeness regardless of it's redundancy. "I brought cupcakes!" bribes never hurt, right? "Red velvet, in honor of you." Ok, maybe she was laying it on a little too thick.
[pm] Found him.
[pm] I saw.
Who's going where? We're taking him down and we're getting those girls back.
mindlikeaflashingdagger replied to your post: What is the meaning of life?
Is that the question?
It's the "Answer to The Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything" from the novel.
shit did I just ruin the book?
[mask pm] I have Robin investigating a warehouse at [location], can you head over as precautionary back up?
[mask pm] On my way.
[pm] Any success?
[pm] None. If someone was there, they've definitely cleared out. And well.
Tetch is moving around, not staying in one place.
