My nail tech told me she had dreams of being an actress when she was younger. She says she wish she could do it now. I said "so be an actress." She said "I can't." Then goes on to give me a list of reasons why she couldn't. None of them had anything to do with ability. Just personal fears and insecurities. I make cakes as a hobby, and she says "I wish I could decorate cakes like that." I told her to try, that I would teach her. She said "No, I'll make a mess." 😏 But, here she is with hands steady as a surgeon's, painting beautiful pictures on acrylic. Why do we do this to ourselves?
