3, 6, 9, 10. 11, 17 (waggles eyebrows), 20, 22, 30!
Thank you Mindtwin <3
3) A song that reminds me of summertime- "Drift Away" Uncle Kracker
This one summer this song was so overplayed… and ever since it reminds me of late summer sleepovers with my older cousin.
6) A song that makes me want to dance- "Indian Song"
Gosh, this was a difficult one to come up with, because I absolutely don’t dance. But when I was little, my mom used to play this really fast on the piano and I’d run around in circles “dancing”. So… it still kinda makes my leg wiggle when I hear it.
9) A song that makes me happy- "Sweet Disposition" The Temper Trap
This song has a weird story to it. I first heard it and I KNEW I had heard it somewhere and I was determined to remember. But I never did remember so I was left without knowing, but it always makes me smile. So it must have been a happy memory? XD
10) A song that makes me sad- "Fix You" Coldplay
Every line of this song is like a punch in the gut. I’ve actually changed the radio when it comes on. :C So sad. Darn it Coldplay. All of your songs are sad (see also: The Scientist)
11) A song that I never get tired of- "Wild World" Cat Stevens
I’ve heard this song a thousand times, oh my gosh. But I never get tired of hearing it- I think there’s something to Cat Stevens because I never tire of any of his songs.
17) A song that I would sing a duet with on karaoke- "Need You Now" Lady Antebellum
I’ve sang this with my roommate Meeshell and it's kinda a duet? :D <3
20) A song that has many meanings to me- "Finish Line" Train
This song I take in a few different ways. I think it’s supposed to be lost love or something, but I associate it with me talking to a number of different people I’ve left in my life, and even my past self. It’s kinda neat <3
22) A song that moves me forward- "Marchin’ On" OneRepublic
I love OneRepublic, and this song kinda hits all those reasons I’d ever be down and encourages me to get up and keep marchin’ :)
30) A song that reminds me of myself- "A Sorta Fairytale" Tori Amos
Lots of California references, some religion thrown in there, stuff about wanting to go back to a time on the road… I just feel like this is going to be one of those songs that I’ll always associate with myself <3
