Given how diligent he takes care of his body he probably treats showers under the same routine. 10 minutes, cold showers. Long hot showers (like what Daigo could do) are for those who could afford the water. I don’t think it’s ever formed as a habit for him even with his wealth now. This is all to say I don’t think he’d be a huge fan since he just wants to be in and out, but enjoys how easy it is to clean up after sex when you’re already in the shower. Doesn’t like sharing shower space either. Would rather take this to a mattress for comfort. But he too could be swayed by his lover washing his hair and body all gentle-like…

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

Not so much as a headcanon I guess but more in line with observation based on canon? Idk--I like to treat/write Mine as a character that is incredibly blunt and straightforward with his feelings. He'll lie to serve his own interests and work in a way that obscures his intent, but when it comes to brutal honesty he's throwing the punches. Very easy to read once you know him after a while. He wears his emotions on his sleeve. There's a lot of cold anger there.

19. How about a relationship they have in canon that you don't like?

Hmmmmmmmm I don't know if there is one? Like even saying relationship in the general terms, the connections he has to the people he interacts with all make sense. I could say Kanda, of course, but I don't dislike their dynamic. I think Mine hating Kanda and using him to get further ahead in the yakuza and the contrast present of Mine finding worth in bonds, but only through Daigo and not in the basic form of bonds in the yakuza with an aniki. Still interesting. So nah, nothing I don't like.

25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?

I texted my brother live updates as I watched Y3 (bc I couldn't play it and was interested in the story of it) so I literally have the exact time and date of my reaction when I saw Mine for the first time.

As for now--great character and really interesting and fun to pick at. There are so many odd facets to his character to explore. I want to understand his reasoning deeply and write him because of his actions and his explanations given.
