ill start i started around 2012 on PE and java in early 2013 right after 1.5 i think, and i currently play java 1.16.5 modded

You know what? I'm emotional about Minecraft. I remember playing Classic mode (which was the first publically available version) in the browser in 2009. I was 10 at the time. Later, I bought the beta release from my allowance, shortly after it came out at the end of 2010. Ever since I've played on and off, and I have incredibly fond memories of it.

Today, I am 25. Minecraft has existed and been a part of my life for the majority of it. I've owned an account pretty much since accounts were a thing. I am studying to become a teacher now. Yesterday in class, I heard some kids aged 14-16 talking about Minecraft. They called it the best game ever.

I'm crying as I write this. Minecraft will always have a special place in my heart, and I'm overwhelmed by the fact that it also will for the kids of today.
