you know how giving cats wet food makes them more hydrated? this works on humans too. eating food with high water concentration can be super hydrating. really good if you’re sick of just water in the summer

my top favs:

-asian/chinese pear (also called apple pears)!!!!! super hydrating and very very yummy, also has way more fibre than other high water content fruits. you can also use it to make teas

-watermelon (classic summer fruit)

-cucumber (can be made sweet or savoury, fun with dip)

-SOUP!!!! i know summer isn’t exactly soup season but soup is literally mostly water. incredibly versatile too.

i wish i was a dog for a lot of reasons but right now one of them is that my cat peed somewhere in the house and i can’t figure out where and if i had a more sensitive directional nose i could figure it out.

he’s fine physically btw and both litter-boxes are changed daily he just has anxiety and is really fucking neurotic so he pees on things. confirmed by vet
