I like in Minecraft fics how different authors approach stuff like food, cause sometimes it’s like “I saw that you were hungry so I spent half an hour making you this stack of pancakes, filled with love and effort” and sometimes it’s “I saw that you were hungry, so here’s 37 cooked pork chops that’s been in my pocket for eight days :D”

So that one post about caving, specifically the one talking about having cyanide capsules and that one guy saying they should have explosives on them to widen the tunnel as if caving runs on Minecraft logic, has been circling my brain like sharks to a chunk of meat and I’m just- I could listen to an entire 45 minute long video of people talking about it.

Some people have asked how the minecraft sun and moon are able to revolve around the world when the minecraft world is infinite and flat.

Answer: The minecraft sun and moon are paper thin, and they can just slide between the blocks.

Can anyone explain why writing is so hard?

I asked my friend today if *hypothetically* characters that died and came back to life as zombies but they only died because their life force was drained, not because of blood loss, should have all the gross cuts and severed limbs and black blood and crap on them

(It’s okay my friend already knows I’m insane and a writer)

but it gave me an even better idea. I still have writers block but keep the question in mind. Might be posting it at some point

Minecraft blocks and items make no sense

I've been trying to get better at building in Minecraft and that led me to a whole rabbit hole about Minecraft blocks and items, where I realize the very weird mechanics and logic to the Minecraft world.

I can make whole arguments about the weird things I found simply by looking at everything the game has to offer and try to understand the logic behind it, and it all falls apart when you compare it to another logic in the game.

I understand the reasoning behind some of the things but when I really think about it the weirdness outweighs any reason.

not to say it ruins the game for me, Minecraft is my favorite game I play everyday, but everyday I'm faced with realizations that the game is full of chaos and disorder
