I just made a new minecraft world and spawned IN A PALE GARDEN??? the seed is -4908860180396068668, idk if it works in Java because I did it on bedrock but that’s like a 0.07% chance of happening😭
It's as if it was all but a dream.
A head often grows weary of bearing a crown.
Roughly five or six years ago, I started a new Minecraft world that generated with the following seed: 5203071104172902170.
This world & the terrain displayed here would've been generated in roughly version 1.16.5; worlds that use this seed, but are created in newer versions, look wildly different.
I simply named the world "Thing", and expected it to be another random world to spend my 2-week Minecraft phase in: I'd explore a ways, build some random stuff around the landscapes as I wandered, then abandon it for a good long while.
Instead, the world grew to have a bit of a story, and is now one of my longest-lasting & most beloved worlds.
The above screenshots are from an alternate world I generated with the same seed. They show the landscapes upon which I constructed my kingdom, which has been my primary (though not first) base of operations throughout the world's history.
This landscape is located a bit of a ways from the world spawn, with the journey mostly taking one towards the North & Northwest. It's easy to spot, however, as it's characterized by a sudden break into open plains after most of the journey has been over snowy taigas, windswept hills, swamps, and forests.
There are also multiple hilltops brightly colored with the characteristic blossoms of the flower forest, and across the plains, mountains with a large, majestic ruined portal! (the mountains are in a couple screenshots, but i forgot to get one with the portal. oopsie daisy.)
There are many ponds & multiple rivers to fish in, as well as access to the ocean if you follow the plains a ways away from the mountains. Beyond the mountains is a windswept landscape with even more open space to build in, and more animals such as goats & llamas to tame.
Reminder, again, that this generation will only occur if the world is made in a version between versions 1.7 & 1.18. Any older or newer versions will display vastly different landscapes!
Here's some /tp commands that you could use to reach this landscape, if you're not up for travelling, or your sense of direction isn't precise enough for such a journey:
/tp -986 ~ 1159
/tp -1108 ~ 1323
/tp -846 ~ 1300
/tp -612 ~ 1412
/tp -1142 ~ 1184
Overall, it's an incredibly interesting seed, and has some damn good places to make bases in some somewhat older versions; I should know, I've been doing it for half a decade! Granted, I'm biased due to nostalgia & sentimental attachment, so make of this rambling what you will.
Reminder that I'll be off Tumblr on the 18th & 19th to protest the latest bullshit update, and to give a fond farewell to the forest breeze. May you find good fortune & a source of peace in life.
