Today while I was modding Minecraft Beta 1.8, I seemed to have finally found the root of the bug that makes your line of sight ignored by multiplayer Endermen. Apparently there was no dev around to clue into the fact that the line of code had forgotten to put the last necessary pair of brackets in so that the math and order of operations worked out.
