WITCHES. Some are Villagers who were struck by lightning, and upon realising they miraculously survived an attempt on their life by the sky itself- decide to do more with their lives and run away to do their own thing. They have not realised the possible brain damage caused.

Others were just born as Witches, to Witches.

let's learn minecraft magic lore with mama

i'm quite proud of this one. this idea itself also seems like a rather original spin on the magic of Minecraft (and the reason witches villagers and illagers look so similar). I haven't seen anything using this specific explanation yet. (which by the way, you're totally allowed to use this concept if you want!)

the storytime segment artstyle is inspired by brightgoat ! while our stories for Minecraft are quite different, I take a lot of inspiration from them art-wise, and would never have had the courage to share my Minecraft story if not for them.

It's a comic, and a pretty long one, so I'm super proud of myself because I don't usually ever do comics!! :D Really I hadn't meant to do it, but wanting to doodle Likanu turned into a uh, ten page comic 😅

YESSS!! YESSSSSS!! FULLBODIES!!!

Villagers and Illagers!! I wanted to do some full-bodies, and that evolved into a bunch of expressions and 5 new OCs.. haha👁️👁️💧

These are mostly for myself, but yeah! I'm happy with how it turned out, even if some of the colours for the outfits could likely change in the future. Anyway, below are the fullbody PJs, while under the cut has some close ups:3

The New OCs:

Michael. Thorn and Ali know, or knew him. He seems on edge alot.

Shard the Iceologer! I gave him pretty eyes:) he's also very sweet, and a mama's boy! (He got the honor of being able to be raised by him mama, who hopefully will have a design soon:))

A Married Villager Couple! Quill is good friends with Jeremiah, while Paige is usually just there when they interact:P very loving to eachother though! They also adopt Baby Aubrey!

(Baby Aubrey^, I couldn't be bothered to try and figure out outfits the couple tho lol)

New Witch OC! She's important! Also, unlike Margaret, she was born a witch:D

this is one of my three witch ocs, her name is Maeve. she exists in the base game timeline and is a resident of Harvest Bend, an autumn-themed old growth taiga village.

she is twins with my cleric oc, Barbazola, and was formerly being trained in similar magics before being struck by lightning. she now takes on the role of being a doctor within her community. her familiar is a black cat named Faunus!

She is transgender and lesbian.

The Coven

Zephyr used to be part of a coven before finding Lumine, and still regularly exchanges letters with them to this day. While it has been more than two decades since she's seen them, she still holds them dear to her heart.

Toll takes care of the Coven's mountain library, an expansive build originally made hundreds of years ago that the coven restored and turned into a library. This trio still live there, but Corrin and Exzra regularly travel to other regions outside the map to study magic and bring back their findings.

Lumine has heard of the coven, however has not met them yet.

@brightgoat's Minecraft: My World AU (<- super so cool you should go read it!!) inspired me recently to think about Witches in Souls of Black, so here's my new Witch oc, Likanu! She's an Idealist Witch from the Snowy Taiga Forest!

One thing I forgot to mention in the original Witch post, is that the original reason Witches wear purple is because of Idealist Witches. Due to their following of the Paradigm of Power, they wear its signature color, which is purple. Abyssalist and Unfulfilled Witches kinda just copied them for the aesthetic of it lol

I do plan to give Likanu a Wanderer friend (<- very loosely termed), but I've been designing Likanu all day so I'm gonna revel in just being able to doodle her, lol
