Minecraft City Project - Update 11
Update 11 has been a little interesting, although not much has been built. Trying to make the city diverse, and attempting to raise sections has slowed progress a bit. However, there has been a little progress with buildings that were started in the past but never went forward. Anyhow, let's move on and I'll show you updates.
This building's frame has been standing empty for some time, but I finally decided on how to build the walls up. For now, the walls will remain unfinished until I can work out how to install a working staircase/ladder into the building for access to all the floors. I opted for alternating walls just to be different.
I decided to build a tourist information center beside the tower above. It's a small center and will likely only house a couple of walls which will be littered with signposts, aiding all the visitors to the City about what can be found in that section of the City, and guide them to other places too.
The outline for this has been sitting in the back of the ToonGAMEr HQ since one of the first updates. I finally decided to build them up. The D-Pad Monument is made of iron and still doesn't quite look right. Still, it's there, and can be altered at a different date.
I've finally gotten around to installing some lighting into underground car park, so now you can see down there.
For for the future improvements sections:
I've got this large spot that I've decided to build a public swimming pool in. I've jotted down the measurements (49x27) and I'm drawing out plans for the interior so that I can build the pool area.
I was trying to figure out a way to connect the higher and lower parts of the City. Of course, I have the rail network but I thought I'd add a public staircase to connect the 2 levels. I drew a very bad drawing to illustrate what I mean.
The other updates in the previous post will be completed too, once I know the whereabouts.
