That's my headcanon for zombies in Minecraft.

In this MC AU Alex is in creative mode and she died only once, so there's no zombies with her face. Steve died thousands, millions times, so most zombies look like him. The new guys (Efe Ari Makena etc) died some amount of times, but not too much times, so they just haven't had time to see "their" zombies yet.
