i know it's like a two nickel situation but it's fkin haunting me and i have no where to scream about it so here it is
first obsidian brings along this cool short king, who's essentially a globetrotter with a suspiciously familiar name. I mean you can def pass Marius as a latin name and just shrug it off. It gets a bit more obvious when he starts telling you abt his mates Ioan and Razvan and then he drops these gems in casual conversation
like, i get making ficitional languages does function like that. you take the structure from a real one and just kind of... mush things around until you get the vibe you wanted. and it works! kinda. it kinda bugs me that it sounds like romanian but for the life of me i can't bloody tell what the original insult was (bsides du-te dracu which hey, works decently in terms of intensity)
at least the va does a decent job of delivering these with the appropiate level of spite fit for a braila gang war.
and then! As if DE hasn't rotted my brain right outta my skull with the kim conversations in 1999 they bring in uber sexy mamma Minerva who drops in this bomb and fucks right off.
