En 1808, Bodawpaya (le roi qui a construit le Mingun paya... suit...)( ) fait un sort de Bell bronze énorme a son stupa monumental.
90 Tonnes, 4 m haut, très Bell a atteint plus de 5 m de diamètre dans sa plus grande dimension. La deuxième plus grosse cloche est dans le monde, mais sans aucun doute la plus grande campagne suspendue dans le monde entier.
1838 Tremblement de terre qui a frappé la base du stupa d bloquer également soutient la campagne c'est canaux et un nouveau sanctuaire en acier nouvelle prend en charge l'utilisation du teck de la Grande-Bretagne.
