make amends;
@minhoxyf
she wasn't sure how long the meeting had been going on, but time seemed to slow down the moment he entered the room. hyeseung was consumed by her thoughts entirely as she focused on the pen in her hands, almost completely tuning out the meeting as a whole. she caught enough to know it was about the spring formal, but she didn't catch any of the tiny details.
she would glance around the room occasionally, and tried her best to at least pretend like she knew what was happening. it was unlike her to get so distracted by one person, but he wasn't just any person. minho was her childhood best friend who suddenly cut ties with her not too long ago. it was the first time that she was even in the same room as him, and she tried her best to keep her wandering eyes from meeting his.
though she still stole glances upon him, unable to stop her thought process. she just wanted to know why. why did he suddenly stop talking to her and do everything in his power to avoid her? she felt as though she did something wrong, but when she thought about it that thought was proven to be invalid. she was over emotional and he knew that more than anyone — he could have at least given her a heads up.
but if no connection was what he wanted then that is what she would give him. he wouldn't try to talk to him or force anything onto him. besides, she wasn't sure what it was that she would even say to him. was she mad or was she angry about this whole situation?
she'd been so lost in these thoughts that she hadn't realized she was staring at him, nor did she know for how long. but once the realization hit her she brought her attention back to the pen that she absently rolled through her fingers, pursing her red lips in embarrassment and finally coming back to reality long enough to catch the end of the meeting.
