Time Travel
One concept I have never understood was the concept of time travel. Using a machine or magical object to travel through the fabric of time. But what I cannot necessarily grasp in my head of ideas is how to change time. If we change a clocks display of our time, it will not adjust time itself, although it makes a good pun. And sadly all the DeLorean owners going 88 mph will experience the same disappointing realization as well. I do not think time travel will ever be achieved with modern day technology. Our technological advances are sadly not enough. We cannot even lift things using our brains without a brain wave transmitter and a computer within the tiny object that our so called "advanced technology" can withstand. But enough about neuroscience in this time travel based article. Sadly, as much as the concept is very exciting, I'm afraid to say time travel will never be achieved.
Make-up – Fraudulence or Confidence?
“I feel that make-up brings out the better version of yourself,” Pippa Rose explained to Mike Williams during 'The Why Factor' interview. But one might ask: is this always the case with all women, and yes even men, who wear make up? The answer is no.
Nancy Edkov, psychologist, explains how women tend to use make up to camouflage themselves, call attention to certain facial features, show social convention, feel loved and boost up their confidence. However, for some women putting on make-up is a chore and a way of not being true to themselves.
Ing Song Min, male Korean, uses make-up and does this as part of his preparation in increasing his own competitiveness. He says that his girlfriend approves but his male friends do not understand his motives.
Seems like the beauty industry still has a lot to work on to win favour of the male population.
