Midas Gold 1300 GTi
This car is the successor of the Mini Marcos from England. The Midas has no frame, it has a composite monocoque with a hermetic underbody and wings. It was designed by Gordon Murray. The Midas drives with an underground effect, i.e. the faster you drive, the more the car sticks to the road. The chassis can be equated with that of a go-cart. Winding country roads with sharp, sweeping turns will knock on the mufflers of preceding bikes to ask why they aren't speeding up (when sparks are already flying from the kickstand and muffler)! The Midas can be tuned mechanically very well. It has a MG Metro engine with standard 72 hp. The car with a 3.45 axle is already running at 185 km/h. The example presented here is a lot better, since it can breathe better with a 4-in-1 exhaust manifold, higher compression and an open (72mm) exhaust and without a stinky catalytic converter. These modifications are just a few of many.
