hey, just wanted to thank u for reblogging my post. means a lot to me :] i especially would love to hear ur thoughts on chisato and vil being similar bc i feel the same way!! and i wanna see what’s ur reasoning behind it !!! if that’s ok :3

It was no problem at all! I thought it was a fun idea!

And that’s completely fine! I can try my best to explain. So, on an outer level, they’re both purple-eyed blondes that have this mature and sophisticated aura. But they were also child actors that have some level of emotional baggage from their time doing that when they were younger. There both pretty professional too!

That’s how I would sum it up, I think. I’ve had thoughts of making a venn diagram of Vil, Chisato, and Arashi from Ensemble Stars for a while but  I never got a round to it too. But I will say that Vil and Chisato could be friends if they ever met, honestly.

...There are ships involving them that I like that kind of parallel each other in my mind too but I won’t be discussing that here for now.

Arisa x Rimi

I don’t often read Poppin’ Party stories outside of ongoing events, but they sound like they could be pretty sweet together! The mix of having a more straight-forward Arisa and a soft Rimi would be a pretty interesting combination. I recall reading a story where they end up having a bit of conflict but it was pretty nice to see that they still cared for each other even when they were scared to face each other for a while. Their image colors are some of my favorite colors too and with their cute sense of styles, I think they’d look nice together!

Misaki x Kaoru

I haven’t read all of the Hello, Happy stories, but from what I’ve seen, they have a pretty nice dynamic~ Sure, Kaoru can be pretty silly but she has a big heart too! I loved the moments where she would console Misaki when the latter is feeling down. It’s a pretty sweet ship, but with Hello, Happy being the band that it is, I tend to find myself laughing at their general antics more than thinking of them romantically. They helped Kanon impersonate someone, they get into shenanigans while helping local citizens, they laugh together, and cry together. It’s quite beautiful but also hilarious! (The duality of Kaoru being a sweetheart and helping people through rough times but also not understanding the concept of a mascot costume is really something!)

Ooh, I have quite a few actually! I tend to be open with most things as long as the age gap isn't too big (for romantic ones) but I’ll list ones I personally ship!

YukiLisa This is my Bandori OTP~ I really love the history they share with each other and seeing them grow together! I’m biased in 2 ways towards them since I’m a Roselia fan (thus reading all their band’s event stories) and because they remind me of the bond I have with someone from my childhood.

KaoChisa I won’t lie... I think they were 1 of, if not, the earliest ships I have for the game. Once again, I really like the history they have but also the similarities and contrasts between the 2 of them. What can I say? I love seeing people who are not usually vulnerable open up with specific people they trust~ (I like royalty-themed ships too!)

MocaRan ...I’m starting to sense a running theme. Once again, childhood best friends! I think I started really getting into them by the time I was reading 1 of Afterglow’s band stories or 1 of the band’s event stories. I love their bond and their personalities are fun to see together~

PareChu It’s them, the baby gays! They still have some bumpiness to go through since they’re younger and need maturing, but I think it’s really cute that they care for and value each other so much~

KasuAri They balance each other out really well in the narrative and you can tell that they care for each other despite what it might seem on the outside! I think it’s really nice that 1 of them sparks passion and the other helps ground ideas.

I think that’s all of my romantic ones, at least. I like platonic stuff stuff too but I think this post is a bit long already and I’ll save that for another time.

how do u think the twst boys would feel about karou, since she’s such a character? i’d love to hear ur thoughts !!

I’m not sure if I could do all of them but I can picture a few notables ones here and there! I thought about your HCs post and I think I agree with in a general sense with the Jack part. But the other 2 notable ones in my book would be Rook and probably Kalim.

For Rook, I just can’t help but see him as someone who’d be very into Kaoru’s theatrics and might see her as a bit of a kindred spirit. After all, they’ve got this dramatic flair and tend to mix a bit of foreign words or quotes into their speech. They seem to care about people a fair bit too! But there’s this feeling of something more under their smiles, you know? Like there’s history there.

For Kalim, it’s more in a lighthearted way. Him and Kaoru would be like Kokoro and Kaoru. Generally cheerful people who’d likely have fun with each other! It’d be entertaining for me, personally!
