All this drama happening right on my front steps. This anole was one that I recognized everyday as I watered my plants in the front 'porch' . This afternoon she met her fate in the jaws of a Hispaniolan racer snake (Hypsirhynchus parvifrons) hiding underneath the slab of my front steps. Nature is cruel.
