3hrs 50mins. First ever tattoo. I feel quite proud of myself for sitting through this and I'm surprised that I actually have a finished piece because I thought I'd only last the first stroke. Oddly enough and I say this as a HUGE oddly, I barely felt any pain. It was only when Simon got to the hat when I really felt it than when he did his final wipe down before doing the white ink, I felt the pain and as he was doing the white, yeah that hurt because my arm had finally woken up to what the hell was happening...I think because my body finally realised that this was starting to become an "open wound". Not only is this my first tattoo but also it's got a story behind it and it's the main reason why I wanted this man on my body. (Cause that doesn't sound creepy. 😅) ☠☠TW: SUICIDE!!!☠☠ When I was in highschool,particularly during my last three years of school. I felt like my life had nothing, i felt like I had no light at the end of the tunnel and just wanted it to all end. In year 10 as part of an assignment, my teacher encouraged myself and another student to do our dance assessment to "Schools Out" by Alice cooper. After hearing that song, I fall down a rabbit hole and needed to find his other songs. When Alice Cooper released "WELCOME 2 MY NIGHTMARE", I latched onto that album and one song in particular caught my attention. "I GOTTA GET OUTTA HERE." The end of that song,Alice Cooper and the choir have this argument about death and that part really struck a chord with me. Because of that song and because of the Shock Rocker, I'm still breathing.
