Makoto was an early riser even before he moved to Koi, so being the first to awaken isn't unusual as he doesn't know of his roommates sleeping habits so he doesn't bother to wake the other. Instead he decides to make breakfast for the two of them. Footsteps, stepping into the kitchen area brought his attention to someone who had finally woken up, or at least had graced him with his presence.
"Good morning, breakfast is almost ready if you're hungry."
