Ngl, I just got into him not too long ago, about a month? I think? I started roleplaying him on discord because I was too shy to start here, but for some reason sg roddy has been one of the very few cannon Characters I've been comfortable openly playing as. So far I'm really enjoying him, but I know i still have a ways to go with his Character, especially the dialog aspect. (I be struggling with dialog frfr u_u). Regardless though, I hope I'm atleast doing him some justice

I just started reading the short stories and I can't get over just how sassy he is, bro is a firecracker fr.

Also when i got into him I legit didn't think anybody liked him because all I ever really see is people hating on his mustache 😭 it's nice to know theres atleast one other fan around! (I'm also trying to get my friends on the sg roddy bandwagon too, i think its working >:)

For the relationship meme: Drift and Ratchet?

I know this is a little against the grain for most folks who spend a lot of their fandom time in the MTMTE/LL space, but it's not... really my thing.

I certainly enjoy it when it comes up. It's cute, it's funny, but it's another one of those that I just enjoy in passing and will happily acknowledge on the street like a solid acquaintance.

I can see why it's so popular (with the backstories and personalities involved, etc.) and I'm super happy that it makes so many people happy. I don't even mind writing it occasionally, but it's definitely not one that I'm super invested in personally.

The fanart is cute as hell though. Damn, it is adorable. LOVE Dratchet art.

I'm mostly invested in it when it's the source of tremendous comedic potential, especially given the types of people Drift and Ratchet are.

For the character prompt: Windblade?

first impression: i didnt like her cyberverse va like, at all. i would later learn its not her fault and cyberverse just Sounds Like That but. kinda soured my first interaction with her.

impression now: i hate how much she was overshadowed in her own comic and tbqh i cant even blame people for only really caring about the ss aspects of taao/wb, because shes pushed so far out of the spotlight. BUT i think she has a lot of interesting concepts and potential, and i loved seeing her come into her own.

fav moment: i dont have the panels on hand but i LOVED the "free drinks with a delegate" scene, where she sat down and talked with everyone at blurrs before the election. i liked the way it served to sort of illustrate the balance shes come to between the concepts of listening vs speaking that had followed her arc thru taao.

unpopular opinion: if youve ever called her a bitch or said she was "out to get" starscream, i hate you, personally, and also i need you to learn to read.

story idea: i wouldve LOVED to hear more about her religion and how she conceptualizes of it in her understanding of the world after her exile, and just more in depth explorations of her culture and her perspective in general, a lot of the stuff we got in taao felt a little. shallow imo.

fav relationship: i really love her dynamic with starscream, but beyond that i think her relationship with chromia was really nice and i wouldve loved to see even more of it. knight/bodyguard dynamics are sooo fun.

fav headcanon: i think she'd have a lovely singing voice and i would LOVE to see it. yknow how in idw2 lightbright and lodestar use music/dancing as a way to strengthen their bond with each other? i would LOVE to see windblade have a relationship like that with metroplex and singing. i already have a whole wb-centric animated musical in my head ^-^ hasbro hmu

THEY ARE SO SOFT. Minimegs was one of the ships i got super invested in when i was reading mtmte and lost light. I love their friendship, i love how close they got to each other and they TOTALLY WRITE SWEET AND MUSHY POEMS TO EACH OTHER BY THE END OF THE COMIC
