My personal favorite Lucy Headcanon of mine is that she gets a lot more impulsive after Tenrou Island. She gets more flirty and adventurous but it also has its negative impacts. It's harder for her to make rent on time, she gets hurt more in battle, and she tends to get into fights more easily like the rest of the team. They all realize this and its part of why they become so much more protective of her because the whole thing with Lucy is that she's the voice of reason and she's the one that won't dive into danger without a second thought. She's the reason they all stay alive so long and when she stops caring about her own safety (even if it's just a little bit) they all freak out and are forced to act less impulsively to balance out this new side of their favorite Celestial Mage
