big ol’ OC dump!
My boi minow
Here are a few things I did for my AP Art class in high school.. these are recent, but not super recent.. since it’s almost 2018, and these were done perhaps.. in fall of 2016.
The first thing was a cubism project we had, and we had to pick a color from a hat. My color was red, and with that color (plus neutrals such as brown, black and or grey), we had to use seven different mediums. I used: Markers, Color Pencils, Red India Ink, Lip Stick, Nail Polish, Sharpie, and Acrylic Paint. I used the Red Wings here as well, more specifically Tomas Tatar, cause he’s my favorite player, and I did kinda like a movement thing, with it.
The second was actually another thing from DE from the KCAD class.. but I was technically in AP Art when I worked on it.. but woo! There’s a fish! I’ve never painted a fish before in my freaking life.. but there it is! And I actually enjoy it. :)) I painted it with gouache.
The last thing was a repeating pattern project, and we had to choose between primary or secondary colors to use.. and my favorite colors are all secondary. I wanted to do something with a guitar, and it happened to be Tom DeLonge’s signature guitar.. and I turned them into flowers.. and the guitar cords were stems and vines connecting it all as one.. I called it “Lifeline”, after one of his songs, because it just reminded me of that one. Made of colored pencils and LOTS OF FREKAING COLOR PENCIL COLORLESS BLENDER HOLY CRAP.
