Day 7: I did my 2nd hackathon with Mintbean! Today we worked with Algolia which is a quick and powerful search API to make our own search projects. I thought it was difficult at first but not impossible. I wanted to do something Star Wars related so I used data from the Star Wars API. i want 2017 to be a better year than 2016 was, so to try and make that happen i wanted to help spread the love and make sure people know how amazing and valued they are, and to help other people know to. so im going to try to write smth for and about different people i know everyday/as often as i can. and who to better to start my little project with than @mintbean

dear ally, i cant believe we havent even known each other a full year (only like 7-8 months i think?) because youve become such a good friend it seems like longer for sure (then again i can also vividly remember screaming about seventeen and the horrible outfit of that mc like it were yesterday)(seriously was her shirt on backwards???). youve been someone i can rant to and be salty with but also someone who will scream with me over shared interests (or even just things im into) and hatreds. i love talking to you and hearing about how youre doing and how life is (i hope ur last bit of high school is good to u and ur korean studies go well) and i hope 2017 treats you well. im glad we started talking and am very thankful for everything youve introduced me too (my sons and u sons and husband being some of those) and all the laughs youve brought me. good luck in everything u do my friend!!! love u!!!! <3<3<3
