hi seo!!! i was wondering if u could help me w/this, but how in the heck did you study for math?? the way i try doesn't work so im trying to find different ways
ok tbh i’m not the greatest at math either but here’s what i do:
go through old quizzes to see what i missed
i redo the problem w/o looking at the answer and try to work out where i got it wrong
i go through my old hw and my textbook to find more problems like that and practice those
go through old assignments to see what i missed
basically i do the same thing as above
memorize any formulas that i need to know
usually i don’t bother making flashcards and instead, i just practice more and more problems until it’s ingrained in my head
or i come up with a tune for it or smth like that
flip through my notes for that chapter
usually, i’ll make sure to pay attention to all of the little notes that i’ve left myself. ex: “don’t u even dare try separating logs apart bc log and base b and y are all buddies that equal x. how dare u try to separate best buds” (i have that written in the margin lol)
go through all of the vocab for that chapter and make sure that i understand it all
basically, i practice a ton of problems until i feel like i know it super super well.and ofc i don’t do this all in one day. i try to spread all of this out. that way, i don’t feel like drowning in a sea of math on the day before the test.
