Weren’t herbs only good for food though? He wandered around the kitchen and worked on actually cleaning up the clean dishes as he waited on Saeran’s return, needing to keep busy so he didn’t automatically panic about how long it was taking his brother to return. He knew he couldn’t keep him locked up forever, that he needed to go out into the world by himself but that did little to ease his mind. [Text] Wait Herbs? [Text] They can improve eyesight? [Text] Why had I never heard of this before now? Not like he’d ever taken much interest in plants in general, nevermind herbs. That had only been a recent thing due to wishing to learn more about the hobby that his brother seemed so invested in. [Text] Chips and Soda are the divine essences of this one God! -          Saeyoung and Saeran are the sons of king Saejoong (who disappears after being afraid of being accused of an affair with a prostitute which resulted in the twin’s birth)

-          Saeyoung wants to raise funds for his brother and him so he disappears and works as a rogue after befriending nobleman V. He also does not wish to fight Saeran for the throne. But this only leaves Saeran in wonder.

-          Saeran is left alone as the only royal ancestor who is considered to be alive but is too young to rule.

-          Rika becomes the royal advisor and guides Saeran until he grows into a certain age.

-          But when it becomes close as to let Saeran become officially a ruler, Rika had grown fond of the crown and strived for it.

-          Rika takes advantage of Saeran’s uncertainty and desperation for his brother’s return and encourages him to become strong and intimidating then show it off to the citizens so to prove that he wasn’t weak for the throne.

-          Rika uses drugs such as elixirs on Saeran. She forms a cult that would help her conquering the throne while exchanging letters with them with her plans.She comes up with a new religion and aims to replace the current one with it.

-          As Saeran displays abnormal behaviour to the public, Rika finds this chance as to turn on him and accuse him in public of it then gets the public’s approval.

-          Rika is planning a public execution for "betraying the throne" and throws Saeran in the dungeon.

-          Days pass as Rika has raised on the throne by self-claiming herself as the most suitable and ‘able to take care of the people’.

-          Saeyoung overhears this absurdity and that they were planning to kill his brother, so he drops everything and rushes to the kingdom.

-          Saeyoung sneaks in and observes Rika’s behaviour which mirrors the way the citizens described Saeran’s, so he is having doubts that it was Saeran’s fault in the first place.

-          Saeyoung finds out about the cult, letters and the drugs/elixirs Rika is involved in.

-          When the day of the execution comes and they have Saeran out of the dungeon, Saeyoung makes his return and accuses Rika of blatant schemes and lies behind the back of the people and being the actual person who betrayed the throne. He shows the proof with the letters and exposes her cult and drugs.

-          Rika is also accused of witchcraft and the people start disliking her for her actions and the execution ceremony is ceased.

-          Rika is thrown into the cell for punishment and maybe later executed lolol

-          Saeyoung and Saeran reunite.

-          Saeyoung wishes that he and his brother don’t fight for the throne and offers his brother for them to share the crown.

-          Saeran agrees aaand they live happily ever after.

It was fun to get to know Saeran -- he was so different from Saeyoung, although Zen believed there were similarities to be spotted here and there. The main thing they shared was how passionate they would get about things they cared about which was a quality Zen always appreciated. They were just both chilling at Saeyoung’s place today for movie night, and Zen had brought a treat. He believed Saeran had never tried fish-shaped buns, and this had to be solved immediately. 

“Hey Saeran. You need to try those. They’re still warm from the stand !” he said as he left the box open in front of them and grabbed a bun for himself.

“I heard that your personality depends on whether you start eating them from the tail or from the head. So obviously your bro starts with the belly.”

Saeyoung had wondered only slightly inside the living area but he knew that he wouldn’t go too much further. He was slightly still paranoid. Scared in case he turned around and found Saeran gone, that this was all some type of dream that clouded over his mind, trying to trick him into believing that he had saved his brother. But this all hurt too much to be a dream, right? Even the worst of nightmares paled in comparison to how his chest ached each time that his brother snapped and pushed him away with his words.  But he really had no right to complain. After everything that Saeran had been forced to go through because of a decision that he had made... all this was his fault and as such he needed to somehow find the strength to shoulder all that blame. It was no use trying to place the blame on Rika or V. V was gone and Rika was far from here. He sighed and took off his glasses, rubbing at his eyes with his palms only to glance up as he heard Saeran. Hyung - that word cut through his self-doubts and made him turn to face his younger brother, placing his glasses back on slowly as he listened to what he was saying. “When did I ever say that you were no good?”, he sighed and walked over to close the gap between them, lightly wrapping his arms around his brother’s shoulders, light enough so he could pull away whenever he wished, “You’re my world, my treasure. Of course, I want you to be alive. I love you. Please at least believe those words”. He knew it was a lot to ask for but he hoped that his brother would be able to feel just how much meaning was carried in such words.

       He noticed that Saeran was talking to him but hadn’t received a pet at least on the head which had his plan fail. Sort of. At least he captured his attention.

      Seven lifted himself up and turned around so he sat on the floor and inched his head a little closer, dipping it in front of his brother and used a hand to paw at it to hint further what he was trying to request.

Dryly, he swallowed back the questions that had formed, gazing towards Saeran with wide, confused eyes. None of this was making sense. Of all the ways he had pictured them possible meeting once more, this had to be far from reality. Never in a thousand years had he pictured his brother holding a gun, never mind holding a gun pointed toward him. Confusion didn’t seem to be a strong enough word to even begin to describe the conflicted emotions that ran through him at the moment. Something was wrong. Saeran looked so - scared? So upset? So angry... what was going on? Why was he here? Had V really lied to him about this as well? “Saeran...” he barely spoke above a whisper, not daring to move for he wasn’t certain if his brother would pull the trigger or not - and that thought alone caused him pain. He shouldn’t be afraid of his own twin, of the person he’d missed so much, who was his entire world. Yet - he couldn’t move. Barely dared to breathe - for event though he would forgive his brother if he did pull that trigger, he was worried about the effect such an action would have on Saeran. If he ended his life - would Saeran be able to handle the guilt? Maybe it was a foolish thought, given the hate that seemed to ooze from the male before him but it was that thought that made him stay still and silent, closing his eyes slowly as he heard the sound of hurried footsteps. So. Saeran was a part of this place after all. But at least he was alive. Small comfort could be taken from that knowledge, golden hues gazing into mint once more, barely flinching as he felt his arms grabbed roughly and pulled behind him, cold metal clicking into place to restrain him. “Ray Sir - are you unharmed?”, his captor directed towards his brother, Luciel frowning slightly. Ray?

Everything had happened so quickly. A day that was suppose to be spent allowing his brother to find some degree of normality had instead ended in nothing short of a nightmare. It’d been by sheer luck that the thin red line had been spotted, his body working almost in reflex to roughly shove his brother out of the way, no time to think about his own safety - every single cell in his body screaming to protect Saeran, screaming how he’d been through enough already. That didn’t ease the pain though - but losing consciousness so suddenly, no doubt due to the shock of the pain, made him swallow back his scream of pain. The last thing he had been aware of was Saeran, somewhere near him, Saeyoung wanting to scream at him to run, to get as far away from there as possible but instead allowing for the darkness to claim him.

You go abroad for a few months and return to utter chaos. He’d be more surprised if he’d came back to finding everything just as it should be but that didn’t stop the shock he felt when he’d received the call that informed him of Saeyoung’s condition. Since the twins parents couldn’t be listed as next of kin and V was now deceased, Vanderwood was the next contact point. You could have given the man at least a day before getting yourself shot... Though perhaps now wasn’t the time to be attempting to try and use humor as a coping method. According to the doctor on the phone, Saeyoung was in a rather serious condition and Saeran was rather shook up. Vanderwood wasn’t sure on what he could do to help in this situation as he arrived at the hospital and was lead into the waiting room to where Saeran had been told to wait. He sighed as he walked inside, gently closing the door behind him, silently taking in just how much blood the younger brother seemed to be covered in. “Saeran”, he spoke softly, walking over to sit in a chair near the other, taking in the full severity of the situation, forcing himself to remain calm for the sake of the other. It wasn’t as if he wasn’t worried. He was just a little better at hiding such emotions, “...Can you tell me what happened?”

RP starters: Heated argument. 

Of course he did. He wasn’t going to argue against that point. He knew that he had messed up, he knew that his past decisions in life had lead them towards this reality but didn’t Saeran see that he was trying? He wasn’t sure yet on how he could fix this, wasn’t sure if it could be fixed but that didn’t mean that he was going to give up on him either. He just needed to take this beating - even if each word was thrown back against him, even as he felt his heart slowly being ripped into tiny peices, he needed to battle on through that pain, be strong for Saeran. He swallowed hard, swallowing back his own fears, his own pain, taking a small step back towards his brother, hands held slightly out infront of him, ready to defend himself if his brother decided that words were no longer enough. “I understand… being stuck inside all the time isn’t the greatest…but it was either here or the hospital and this was the best place for you…” It really was though he felt as though Jumin was going to be annoyed with the manner in which he had sneaked his brother out from the hospital like he had. But, he couldn’t allow for Saeran to stay there, to allow them to deem him not safe enough to leave, to keep him locked up there for longer. He could see how it was all annoying his brother, having people coming and poking and prodding at you everyday… he needed the space and time to heal and the bunker was the best place for that. Least that’s what he told himself before Saeran had awoken and flown into this latest rage. It pained him to see him like this, to see what he had caused to happen. He’d failed him once before and he was going to do everything in his power to make sure that he never would again. This had to be the right choice - right? He’d rather be in here than inside some hospital room - right? “Do you need anything? I can get you anything you need” @minteye-ray
