Scientist who tried to prevent me from waking up because he knew he was in a dream

I forgot almost everything about this dream except for the end. The scientist was a very normal looking guy with black hair and a lab coat, but also had angry/bad vibes. He tried to keep me in a cell in a lab and explained it was because he knew he was in a dream and that I was the one dreaming it, and he theorized that if I woke up him and his whole world would disappear. I did wake up of course, feeling fairly freaked out! Also I think Kirby was in the dream somewhere lol

Action hero type character who looked a bit like Mr. T, saved people in a resort from an evil robot clown

The dream took place at a tropical resort that had been taken over by an evil robot clown, who was intent on world domination. At one point, a bunch of teens found themselves cornered by the clown and his minions in a library. The hero entered, armed to the teeth. After slicing his way through robots and having a stand off with the clown, he went on to rescue the teens, stop a run-away train full of resort evacuees, and eventually returned to the resort for a final battle between him and the clown. Action hero won :)

I chose a random one of my spotify playlists for this and got I Will Be There from the Count of Monte Cristo musical

okay so these are 3 different lyrics but i have an explanation. SO idk if you know the count of monte cristo which means i'll be explaning some plot points but this is a duet between mercedes and edmond dantes set after dantes has been sent to the château d'if (he was wrongfully imprisoned)

the first line is sung by dantes, the second by mercedes, and the third both.

i find it interesting that dantes sings the line about mercy when his whole thing quickly becomes about revenge. he wasn't even planning on being merciful to mercedes even though they were to be married because he thought that she betrayed him

mercedes sings the line about freedom because at this point she still has hope. she and dantes both believe that he has been wrongfully imprisoned when in reality it was a betrayal- villefort knew that dantes was innocent but still imprisoned him for the sake of his own reputation.

now, the third line is where we get to the whole justice thing. basically the whole plot of the cmc is about justice lmao. dantes becomes obsessed with revenge on those who have done some sort of injustice against him and takes on a whole lot of confusing to keep track of personas to do it. mercedes, however, is against the count's (dantes') version of justice.

you could also see this order as an evolution of dantes; how he starts out as a puppy (not my words) before he meets abbe faria in prison and escapes and afterwards gets the treasure of monte cristo, takes on the identity of the count, and starts plotting.

ANWAYS i just think it's cool how this can be interpreted
