SHA, The Forgotten Keeper

"The supposed-to-be Keeper of Lura, SHA never got to be a keeper after Lura's failed embedding. They now wander the Vessel aimlessly, still looking for a purpose after all these years.

AKA behold my MIO oc!!! Say hi to SHA, they're slightly mischievous but relativity chill and they're insanely tall (Like, almost Shii-height when standing). Hope you like them!

MIO OC(s) IDEA!!!!!!

Conjoined robot twins with completely separate and different personalities. Could be the most powerful beings on the vessel if they just worked together.

Backstory

Halyn was just basically bored one day and decided to just fuck around and see what she creates (even though she knows she has way better things to do.) Anyway Halyn got WAY too hyperfixated on building her abomination (like the autistic queen she is) and ended up working them for 2 weeks. She wanted to see what would happen if 2 beings shared the same body where the only way to really survive out on the vessel is to cooperate with personalities that contradict each other. Oh right and their names are Shyra (she/her) and Vinx (he/him) prolly should've said that earlier.

Design

Oh god where do I begin

Ovaloid or skinny sphere type body shape

Each of them control one half of the body (kind of?) (I think?)

They have six limbs, 2 on the top, 2 in the middle, and 2 on the bottom

2 arms and 4 arms or legs (depending on which one is on the lower half at the time)

They both control the middle arms :3

They have tendrils that flow through the arms/legs that create the floaty joints that mio kinda has

The arms/legs can have tendrils extend out of the ends of them to use as opposable thumbs, but only 2 arms/legs can have the opposable thumbs at a time

The middle arms do not have tendrils flowing through them

Instead they're connected with a simple ball joint thing

Have 3 little finger/pincer things for the hand thingies kind of like mel has

Ok now on to the head(s) rules

Pointy triangular prism head shape

Heads on top of a little square connector thats attached to the body/track

They have four circular eyes each

1 bigger one in the middle, 2 small ones bottom left and right, and 1 medium sized one up top

their eyes can spin (to counter their heads being upside down sometimes)

their heads can rotate

their heads move along a track that runs vertically along the middle of their body, but only one head can be on one side of the body at a time

(If it wasn't like this they would bash their heads into each other all the time)

this means they cannot just kind of switch whatever side of the body they are on without great coordination

this is why 4 of the limbs are functional as both arms and legs because they can flip over and switch off who is doing the walking

You'll get to see a drawing of them later

I'll explain how they can be very powerful later

Personality(s)

Shyra:

a bit of a pessimistic attitude

very snarky & sarcastic

not very likable but kind of relatable at times

focused on doing what she's supposed to do and not disobeying Halyn

tries to get vinx to do some things the "right way" and no do things that piss her off and that she thinks are unnecessary

tells vinx that the back of his head is dirty af to piss him off whenever he pisses her off

Actually kind of lazy

seems like she does a lot but she does it in a very minimalist way that does not take much energy

does not realize that unconsciously, she is VERY worried about surviving for as long as possible, although her attitude says otherwise

self conscious about how she looks

Vinx:

Very mischievous boi

also very neurodivergent coded

although the bad state of the vessel, he likes to appreciate what he has

likes to try to side quest and do things for the funsies (but Shyra tries to hold him back most of the time)

knows that Halyn doesn't actually care about them or expect anything from them and they are just a form of entertainment

oh right Halyn put a body cam and audio thingy on them and sometimes gives them orders as a way to entertain herself

LOVES to piss off Shyra (given her personality this is very easy)

sometimes achieves this by telling her the back of her head is so repulsive that even Samsk (who they knows appearance is quite scary according to other bots) would turn the robot equivalent of pale and run away

Is not lazy and uses quite a bit of energy but usually for fucking around

does not realize that unconsciously, he knows they are gonna dies someday and that they have very little chance of survival long term

this is why he likes to have fun instead of trying to survive more, because he know that it doesn't matter in the end and tries to make the most out of living

despite this he is SOMEHOW also self conscious about how he looks, just like Shyra

Jester, Eccentric Engineer

A rare LUA-Model Unit that isn't a Keeper, Jester loves to tinker and mess around with modifiers and other odds and ends. However, he can be very... interesting at times, being quite excitable and passionate about their work. They can make and upgrade modifiers, and its work is quite safe and useful... unless it's the rare screw-up where a malfunctioning modifier explodes in his face!

Jester's also in a QPR with SHA, making for an especially unusual duo. They're also slightly shorter than MIO (Unlike SHA who's almost as tall as Shii).

What's up with me and extremely bonkers post-canon fan characters-

Anyways, latest one since I'm thinking about them and I do not know how to feel about them-

(Spoilers for MIO under cut)

After the vessel crashed into The Promised Land and terraformed it, you would not expect to see a unit who is still alive, let alone what seems to be a Low-Gravity Keeper model.

Yet, somehow, someone comes across a still-active keeper... or maybe someone decided to try to recreate one out of curiosity and, for whatever reason, decides to abandon them.

Cue said unit getting adopted by some random person.

Now, this little robot pretty much thinks they're human, or at least adopted all their mannerisms and such. However, they are pretty much an endling, and can't quite fit in with humans.
