Size Comparisons

Some “outakes” of the holiday post I did of my girls. I should have gotten “normal” gear saves for all of them, but maybe next time (I need to clear up my save files anyway).

Downloaded a “default” t-pose for just resetting and a from-scratch point for making new poses.

I tend to use Aeryn as a sort of “Default” as she’s a Max Height Midlander, which comes to around 5′6″-ish, which is my own real life height. People tend to call me “tall” where I currently live, but it’s not an unusual height for a white American woman; perhaps higher end of “average” if I recall right.

Dark of course is max height Femroe, so around 7′3″; only ones in game who are taller are male roegadyn.

Aeryn and Iyna, who is Minimum Height Viera. This puts her in the 5′9″-5′10″ range. I would have thought more folks would go average or tall with their viera, but I underestimated peoples’ ingrained ideas that women should be smaller and so many poses seem made with min height bunnies in mind. But I don’t want to change mine cuz of that.

Aeryn and C’oretta, a Minimum Height Miqo’te; so just under 5′; something like 4′9″-ish. I didn’t realize when making her that min height miqo were a “waifu thing,” I was just amused at the height difference from Dark, as C’oretta’s actually my second character I played through the MSQ. So again, not changing her as I don’t need to alter my char concepts just to be contrarian.

Iyna towers over C’oretta, and Dark is huge next to everyone. The angle isn’t the best here; Dark’s a bit far back but still.

Adjusting poses made for the various races when people tend to favor teeny miqo and auri girls, but 3 of my 4 are taller, does get rather interesting.

AND my WoLNPC ship is nearly the same height; Thancred stands just between Aeryn and Iyna as he’s Average Height Midlander Man, but 99% of the couples poses are for major size differences--usually tall man to tiny girl, with so very few women nearly the same height as, let alone taller than, their beaus (or are wlw pairings but there’s still Height Difference there with a tall race paired with one of the tiny girls). So definitely learning about pose adjustments @_@
