I promise, not every photo i take is going to be filled with messy bokeh and barely in focus objects. I’ll change it up soon enough.
Sunset picture taken in Steinkjer, Norway. Shot using the Ricoh GXR with the A12 Leica M mount and a Mir-1B 37mm F2.8 lens.
Just following the recent autumn color theme. It’s nice to know that even on an aps-c sensor the swirly petzval effect is still present in the images, which was one of the reasons why i got this vintage lens i’m using. Would obviously be more intense on a full-frame sensor.
Just the bokeh, really. Another image using the Ricoh GXR and Mir-1B, it’s just a pleasant to work with combination, even though the GXR is great for point and shoot photography and the Mir-1B lense not so much. The Mir-1B 37mm F2.8 lens has this trait of having a really heavy and lengthy focus ring, still enjoyable to shoot with. Probably one of the least sharpest lenses i own as well, but i’m not using it for its sharpness.
