We've been at the Sion airbase the last day's of the WEF 2017. It was Sion last turn to host the Swiss Airforce flying CAP for the WEF 2017 in Davos, Switserland. Our wishes for snow and sunny conditions came out and the Swiss Airforce completed the scenery with their F-5 Tigers and F-18 Hornets. Had a couple of enjoyable day's @SionAirport . Seemed to be our last visit at the Sion Airbase 14 however since it's likely to close it's activity's to the end of this year. Being it one of our favorite bases voor taking winter scenery pictures we left yesterday with a somehow sad feeling, another Swiss Airforce base closed with lots of good memories for us.
