Donald Trump is reminiscent of Kaiser Wilhelm II, during whose reign the upper echelons of the German government began to unravel into a free-for-all.

When Miranda came out to her parents, they told her they would have to process it first. They haven't looked at her the same since. And so, one day, she just packed her bags and left Strangerville (which was getting too strange for her liking anyway). Her older brother Daniel had already been living in Sulani for a few years, and was more than happy to provide home to his little sister. They’ve always been incredibly close, despite their age gap. People actually often mistake them for twins!

Now, starting her second summer in paradise, Miranda is looking for something new. To be exact, she’s looking for love. She’s made many friends in Sulani, but no boyfriend. She heard about Mason and Melody’s BC and looked it up online. Why not give it a try...and why not drag Danny along? Surprisingly, he didn’t protest. In fact, Miranda could swear that his face lit up like never before when he saw pictures of Melody.

Alright, here’s my entry. I got an idea last night and had to run with it. Now I’m just not sure if the soulmate aspiration isn’t against basic BC rules. If it is, I’ll just change it to something else, no big deal. Oh, Miranda is entering for Mason and Danny for Melody. Just in case it wasn’t clear.

I have a bone to pick with the historian Miranda Carter for saying that George V didn't have a drop of English blood 🙄.

In a documentary! Where casual viewers could take it as fact!

Now, if she had said the family was culturally more German than English than they were 300 years ago, sure!

Miranda Carter made it seem like having some German heritage completely erased all English blood.

That's not how DNA works, Miranda!!!

Comecei a ler este livro já há algum tempo e estou determinado a terminá-lo até o final dessa semana. De modo geral a autora traz informações interrantissimas sobre os três Imperadores da Alemanha, Inglaterra e Rússia, bem bem como sobre a relação entre seus países e a pitoresca relação dos três com a Rainha Vitória (avó de dois deles e aparentada do terceiro). O ponto negativo do livro se dá pelo fato da autora ter predileções aparentemente esquerdistas. Tal fato pode ser evidenciado, principalmente, pela conotação negativa dada por ela ao termo "Conservador" e todas as críticas implícitas às políticas de cunho conservador implementadas pelos personagens históricos. Para além disso, o livro é médio e traz além do texto bem escrito e traduzido, um belíssimo conjunto fotografico sobre a vida dos três Imperadores.

One thing I’m not looking forward to in Season 3 of The Flash is being told (once again) that Nora Allen is ‘destined’ to die.

She’s going to be the THIRD female that we’ve been told throughout the CWverse that ‘has to die no matter what’, and it’s like, stop. Just stop. Stop telling people that women (and characters of color and other disabilities etc) have to die for the world to keep going.
