       Was  this  guy  …  monologuing?  What  kinda  guy  had  she  gotten  herself  mixed  up  with  this  time? 

       Momo  simply  stared,  dumbfounded.  That  was  …  a  lot  of  words.  So  many,  in  fact,  that  she  could  have  sworn  he'd  begun  speaking  in  equations  —  which  at  this  point  may  have  been  easier  to  digest.  Then  …  he  apologized? 

                  What  was  happening? 

                        (   Frankly,  she  wasn't  able  to  process  much  of  what  he  said  until  he  hit  a  pause.   ) 

       ❝   Ah  …   ❞   She  blinked  as  if  she'd  been  flashbanged.   ❝   Y-Yeah,  I'm  fine.  Er  …  Sorry?   ❞   Maybe  she  too  should  have  been  looking  where  she  was  going,  and  she  did  feel  bad  about  the  cake.
