Augmented reality is already making changes in many different industries. Unfortunately, we do not see too much reliable, inexpensive and white-label solutions related to Health Care.
This our story: The patient lies on the hospital bed, as the doctor passing by. He is wearing glasses that look like completely regular. The doctor looking at the patient chest, examining her condition.
The Heart Rate data, Skin Temperature, Respiratory Rate and RR interval appears on a computer monitor nearby patient, but this time there is no need to turn his head towards the monitor, because he can see all data in front of his eyes. There is no reason to get close to the patient or his monitor, just look at the patient from the distance up to 15 meters and the data pop-up automatically.
It was a completely new challenge for Mircod Team to adapt all existing Mircod IoT modules and prototypes to be able to visualize data not only on any mobile devices, smart TV’s and on regular computers, but also to create a true, hands-free augmented reality solution. The final solution can project digital scenes with regard to Mircod ECG patches on what we see and prepare or alerts nurses and doctors on different biometric changes, patients portfolio, historical data etc
