Elijah watched two compelled movers place a rather large mirror against a wall. He wasn’t fond of the pictures his lovely little brother had shown him of the mirror and now seeing it in person he still wasn’t. After tipping the movers, he walked forward to it to remove the sheet and looked up at the massive work of art. Well, that’s what Niklaus had called it. “Mirror mirror on the wall...” he said softly, smirking at his own cleverness. What he didn’t expect, though, was a woman to appear out of nowhere.

“Well, what have we here?” There as no one around to hear Aurora as inspected the mirror before her. Her morning had been spent preparing the cabin for the busy say that was to come, and the mirror struck her as out of place, older and more elegant than anything else in the wooden home. “Aren’t you a pretty thing?” It was unclear if she spoke of the object or herself as she stepped forward to examine her own reflection. Hand on her lips, she froze, a moment of hesitation. It wasn’t too late to go back now, but --Tristan still rotted at the bottom of the ocean. “Am I really going to do this?” she asked aloud.

Josephine had heard about the mirror but never thought that it would end up in her possession. A member of the coven had inherited it and decided to give it to the descent. She had it set up before removing the shroud, unsure of what she would see.
