WE WERE LIARS (2025-)
"i don't think anyone ever really saw me" stop it. "i don't want to burn again" with the added gut punch of johnny being gay and the sinclars religious. STOP IT . GAT'S FUTURE DREAM. THE FUCKING DOGS. MIRREN'S ART GALLERY. "'You're a child'/'i'm YOUR child'" NOOO. MIRREN COULD HAVE JUMPED OUT THE WINDOW BUT SHE WENT BACK FOR JOHNNY AND CADENCE. GAT COULD HAVE STAYED IN THE BOAT BUT HE WENT IN FOR THE LIARS. THEY WERE SIXTEEN AND DRUNK AND ANGRY THEY DESERVED SO MUCH MORE
WE WERE LIARS 1x08 — "My Friends Are Lying In The Sun"
"What's your favorite horror film?" Idk maybe when Cadence found out the Liars had been dead the whole time
“any heaven waiting for me would have you in it” “i’ll see you for the rest of my life” “in a better world” thank you we were liars for shattering my heart into a million pieces
Just another really sad detail to me about the liars is how it seems like all of them had future plans made except for Cadence and she ends up being the only one to survive, Gat had his interview to go to and wanted to be a journalist, Mirren had her portfolio she was working on to submit to art school, and Johnny had tennis and his desk had Harvard prep books in it like they all had dreams and aspirations and now none of that will ever be realized, how tragic to be forever 16
and that's what makes it tragic: that it could have been avoidable, that they could have been alive. but they lashed out the only way they knew how. they were sixteen-year-olds, for god's sake.
when we were sixteen, did we make good arsonists?
