First of all you were absolutely right about taking some time to step back and take a break from Mirrors instead of just definition-of-insanity-ing myself to death abt ch 13, allowing myself to temporarily stop progress on that very quickly made me feel SO much better. Also good lord you were also *extremely* right about the whole "a writer will always itch to write eventually" part cause probably less than 48 hours into my "im just gonna allow myself to not write anything for a few days" resolution I got extremely passionate about a couple janka week fics and started writing them, and I had such a good time doing it that it really brought back that passion that drove me to write in the first place (it was actually kind of comical how quickly the janka brainworms came back, but I guess thats hyperfixation for ya)

The responses from everybody on the post you made were just absolutely mindblowing and it DID in fact make me cry like a little baby. Several times actually. Ironically, gratitude is one of the few emotions I *really* struggle to accurately put into words, its incredibly hard for me to make it sound as genuine as I mean it to, but it meant the fucking world to me to see so many people have such kind words and good advice, I really needed that and I appreciate it more than yall will ever know. Thank you.

For some good news, today I went back into my draft of ch 13 for the first time since that post and turns out its not nearly as bad as I built it up to be in my head. Still can't promise a release date, but I won't have to start from scratch.

So yeah, a huge bone-crushing hug and thank you to everybody who commented on that post and who messaged me privately, I would actually die for yall.

I'm so glad taking a break helped. My executive dysfunction usually just gets me to abandon projects and move onto a new fixation when I do, so I was kinda holding my breath there, but with your consistency and quality of writing I figured you'd be back before we knew it

personally i think new color anons should definitely get more attention, even if they seem to be "trendhoppers" or sumn yknow.

like if you see a newly made anon you like the concept for and youre fairly popular in the fandom you should probably like. yknow. rb their intro, send them asks, ect. ect.

none of my anons get asks and like i know i also need to put them out there but it feels hard to do when no one interacts with them :/

plus like i even made atom anon when the color anons were just starting to pop off. like. i suggested making the wiki, atom anon made its blog when only the oldest anons like purple, red, green, pink, halloween, ect. had blogs.

you could technically count me as an og. but like. i barely get Any interactions unless i initiate it. i barely believe anyone remembers my anons.

i do understand a lot of the popular anons have their own stuff going on and its hard to keep track of all the newer anons but it feels so hard to be apart of the community and be Known

these are all SO COOL mirror anon!!! I love how unique all the designs for the askers are (and I greatly appreciate the little doodle of me I got as well, the witch hat pfp might only still be around on my carrd but it lives on in our hearts)

So, I have been dressing the way I feel most comfortable in myself. I tried some makeup (mostly eyeliner and mascara), and I liked how that looked.

I haven't tried a Binder simply cause I am scared that my parents would find it and I would not be ready to explain that. But I made my chest flat with sports Bras some days and I feel more comfortable that way.

I don't feel comfortable with my chest so that's one thing I am sure about now. I haven't cut my hair short cause I had it short the time I talked about were I was really sure but it looked horrible.

I am not made for short hair. I liked how it made me feel that time but I noticed that the length doesn't really bother me.

Looking in the mirror I sometimes feel really manly (?) And I love that. But I still don't really feel like looking at me so maybe that really something to talk about with a therapist.

But I would have to tell my parents about that I think and right now I don't want that. I don't think they would react badly it's just that I really hate talking about myself to people that know me personally. I don't have a problem with that on here. (If that makes sense)

So yeah I like being seen and present masculinity so I think I am nonbinary if not ftm but I think I am going to vibe with it more in the ways I am comfortable with before telling anyone or doing anything about that.

I have been reading about depersonalization and I fear that that's accurate. I am scared about that but at least I got more sure about the gender thing right?

I think it's totally valid to want to take more time to get to know your gender identity. Just remember, you can ask your parents for a therapist and not come out to them. You don't have to come out until you're ready. But if you don't want to say anything, that's fine too!

It sounds like you're doing a lot of thinking about yourself and I think that's awesome <3
