The video offered no sound, no comment, no words recorded aloud.. obviously taken in one of the mirrors in the library at Eden...
At first it looked fun, he even found himself smiling as a particularly cocky Urian was clearly making the ancient vampire uncomfortable, even angry. Urian looked good doing it too... but the box was oddly familiar, even if he had only seen it once before and couldn’t quite place it.
Sometime around the fourth or fifth time he watched the video play out did it occur to him that during the war... even during the fight in the ballroom or on the bridge with the burning train - he had never seen Adam pissed off. And it was only in a freak accident of the pause and rewind tappings on the screen that one of the burning pieces of paper was framed absolutely perfectly to catch his attention. It was a sketch that Henry had shown him... that box was Henry’s...
For the first time he let the video run to it’s finish.. the phone turned, Adam holding it out at arms length... “get rid of him before he kills henry.”
It a long moment while Abraham looked at the phone, the video had reset to the gallery...hadn’t Henry warned him? His Maker could hardly look at him these days. For a vampire, he was almost certain that a near-human heart rate was severely abnormal.
{my god urain... what are you doing?}
