Work Space Left to right. A triptych - Both Digital and Studio practice. 3 Mirrors with Glass etchings. The images withing the mirrors: lines - etched out and painted with acrylic paint. Eyes - photos taken by me and edited. Placed in a mirror. 8 Pieces - Both Digital and Studio practice. 8 medium sized etched mirrors with Photos printed on the photo paper - placed in a mirror. An empty etched mirror is to be found on the table as an example The lense that has been used to take photos through as an experiment is also on the table. The book on the wall - Visual research. 14 pieces of mirror. Etched with a photo in it.

I wanted to create a piece that would combine aesthetically pleasing and at the same time disturbing imagery. I wanted to use mirrors in order to encourage the viewer to look in to it. However the mirror this time is not a center of attention. I have left a lot less unhatched space this time, purposely to make this peace slightly different. In this case the mirror works more as a frame. I wanted to combine women and beautiful objects such as flowers and Fruit. I picked a petite model and a more fuller figured model. I wanted to create a contrast between bodies. I kept the size small in order to keep the intimacy with in the work. Similar to the work form semester 1 ( 10 x 10 cm mirrors.)
