Why does this gross me out? no.1) I don’t really like Andy Warhol (but am still reading book so may come round) no.2) It seems gimmicky (recreate warhols factory in the tate in 2020.. really? ) no.3) I really like the distorted reflections within the balloons, and i feel like the element of ‘play’ distracts from that? To be honest, it is actually a rather lovely way off encouraging the viewers of the exhibition to engage with the art, and to see the gallery space in the reflection of the balloons. I may potentially just be being a snob…
