Get to Know Me! - Hello! My name is Renee and I am a first year respiratory therapy student in California! My ultimate goal is to create a network that promotes affordable healthcare for everyone through modern and holistic methods and I am so happy that you’re all here to experience it with me. I’m currently enrolled in a 2-year respiratory therapy program and I’m halfway through year one! I have been studying medicine for four years and have switched specialties a few times now before discovering and falling absolutely in love with respiratory therapy. Currently I’m taking only general ed classes but my clinical rotation begins in the spring and I’m all kinds of nervous and excited! As well as being a full time student I am also a full time restaurant manager and it’s no picnic but at the end of the day I love what I do and I’m keeping my bills paid, which is why I work as much as I do. Through my social media platforms I want to show how I study, teach about respiratory care, and give you a look into what my life is like! I’m not here to sugar-coat things though; you’re going to see my successes, my failures, my good days and bad.
