Meet the Artist: @mirshroom

Howdy! I'm Mir (she/they), a Korean American freelance artist based in Texas. I guess a flex in my artist career is me winning first place in a one- shot manga competition hosted by SHUIESHA and Tite Kubo (creator of Bleach manga) but nowadays, I like to lounge around at home with my crusty white dog and draw my favorite characters from manga and mobile games. I frequently travel around to vend at conventions so feel free to stop by and say hello if I happen to be at your local con~

My current displays of my commissions from @mirshroom

I got little stands for all of them. Admittedly 707 doesn't have a final presentation area yet, I'm still figuring that out, but his temporary spot is still nice and out in the open! Have yet to put him on a stand but he does have one.

Commissions are of Keaton from fire emblem, Denki Kaminari and Tamaki Amakuji from MHA and 707 from Mystic messenger.

Just went to local delivery office to pick up package as I was away on holiday over NEew year period and my charms cameee.

Such a generous size and love the double-sided look to show different IC expressions of my own crack holy trinity 😜.

MY COMMISSION FROM @mirshroom JUST CAME IN THE MAIL AND I'M IN LOVE!!! 💕😍💕

I was super lucky to get a chance to commission her at AX!! I legit can die happy now ❤ I just love her art and her Hawks is just freaking amazing!! I simply had to Hawks. As for the other character, it's my OC, Miryoku, who some of you might recognize if ya follow me here. Getting this just gets me so pumped and inspired to write their story!! I can't wait till i finally finish that outline and start writing!!

I came back home from the campus dorms for the weekend last night, and this is what greeted me! I've been wanting the little nugget since it was first announced that they'd be put up on Mirshroom's Etsy, but they went up for sale and sold out while I was in class. I'm really happy that I was able to get one this time 💓

DragonCon this year was nothing short of amazing! I suffered wearing Hawks’ hero outfit in the heat, but I must say that meeting friends, new & old, was a definitive highlight. While wearing Hawks, I came across a sole artist who created this lovely HawksxEndeavor print. Go check out @soltiana Once again I’ve been blessed by @mirshroom ‘s gorgeously adorable charms!!! (I’m still sad that I missed A-Fest due to weather canceling flights), however, coming home from a large convention to these cuties has me smiling from ear to ear 😁😍
