hey guys. i have put out a proper demo for my game ive been working on, MiS-FiTS 2! you should go play it !!! ive been working hard on this project for a while now so any feedback would be Awesome and Cool :]

i played the mis-fits 2 demo by @stoic--rose and i thought it was pretty fun

the start of the game looked pretty rough cause the enemies really werent anything difficult, and im glad the random encounters were removed and instead overworld enemies are used and have their moving patterns and are optional mostly, as they give out a whole ton of exp and like eight minutes into the game you can beat the first dungeon and sneeze at it, the party becomes strong preeeeetty fast and only the catalyst factory seems to account for that, the enemies are funny looking guys though i gotta give them credit theyre pretty endearing and i loved reading their book of worms entries :) but imo the funnier moments are kind of relegated to optional content in the book of worms i wish there were more jokes and puns like there were in mis-fits 1, unless this game wants to take on a more serious and lore centric direction

the callbacks to mis-fits 1 genuinely got me giddy though i didnt expect it to be tied pretty directly like that i was assuming it was a separate world but no it connects and i genuinely squealed when i saw the robots i immediately caught on and was like CLYDE CLYDE CLYDE CLYDE HE WAS HERE THATS WHERE HE CAME FROM i do wish it was touched on a bit more given murphy is a historian or something like it i expected him to ramble about some trivia more since he seemed pretty invested in it all, surely he knows something about triders or the other mis-fits since he recognized marty on the tv, and also has that scrapped sketch of the cast in his room

oh but speaking of that i am pretty nosey and i opened the game file through rpg maker and had a blast seeing whats unused and whats to come

why is murphy green though

the other two party members look promising! i really want to see uzivo theyre my favorite character judging from their abilities and their design, seeing brown and wilted florence also makes me scared for the future what will the writers gonna do to her :sideeye:

overall the demo showed me that theres the same passion put into the project as there was put into the previous game, even if flawed in some places i still totally respect what you are going for and i only want to see more, the message you left felt touching and very real and im sure if you keep going mis-fits will find its people and fanbase (hi thats me)
