Yuuko Au

Yuuko au is a canon divergence bsd au where chuuya accidentally obtains a child at age 14 due to the babies mother (who he was close too) dying making him the sole guardian. Yuuko is the name of said child and it's Basically a fan kid au? Except there's a lack of the fluff and good parenting you usually find in fankid aus.

Misacho

(all the art here is old so ignore the quality </3)

Misacho (not her real name) is an ex-teacher who was moved to Suribachi to work in a soup kitchen there somewhere around the time chuuya turned 10 years old , they met after she rescued him from bleeding out in the alleyway next to her workplace. Despite initially harbouring a LOT of distrust and general dislike for her chuuya eventually bonded with Misacho and they became good friends, with the sheep using the soup kitchen as a home base up until she was murdered.

Yuuko

As mentioned earlier Yuuko is Chuuya's son in this au. He spent the first months of his life in Misacho's house on the outskirts of Suribachi before moving with chuuya after the events of bsd 15.

As a child he was very shy and only really came out of his shell around his dad and dazai (the flags died too soon for him to remember them well).

Yuuko was not aware of Chuuya's mafia career until age 16 when he and a school friend of his were both kidnapped by a group targeting the Port mafia. Despite Yuuko walking out of it unscathed thanks to chuuya his friend was killed. This incident heightened the tension between yuuko and his father leading to him moving out age 18.

By 22 Yuuko is working as a police detective in Yokohama. He had a very black and white way of thinking and strongly resents Chuuya for his mafia ties, when hes not actively working on cases he spends his time gathering evidence to arrest his father.

Yuuko doesn't really have a tag of his own yet so I'll make him one later if I feel nice. Just like Misacho I'll update this post to include photos of him as soon as I finish drawing them 😔

aside from the fact its just fun i wanted to mimic the eyes certain devils have in csm

As a general art thing i like to give non-human charecters funky eyes

i consider it a fun way to know a bit about a charecter before their properly introduced

Now regular 15 chuuya IS human but his eyes are like this because he doesnt think he is, i like to have charecters effected by their own or other peoples opinions of them

I do a slightly more annoying version of what harukawa does with light in eyes

In example (using an oc of mine)

Misacho's eyes in Misacho's pov (Its based on how she sees herself morally)

Misacho's eyes in chuuya's pov (based on how he sees her morally)

And then misacho in the readers view (unbiased lense so its based on how she actually is)

It makes it more complex and i think its fun if you have to first decode who's perspective is influencing whatever comic or image there is and then get a read on the charecters opinions based on that

Circling back to 15 chuuya

I like making him more monstery looking with sharp teeth and nails and funky eyes especially when hes around the sheep (he gets MORE monstery then) because of the sheeps feelings about chuuya and his own about himself ect

in short this was an excuse to rant about details i like to put in my art
