Quirk Power: When Misaki shakes hands with someone, including herself, she can stop time for Ten Seconds, or Twenty Seconds if she shakes her own hand. She can let go of the other hand prematurely to end the effect. After the effect has run its course, or if she stopped it beforehand, her power goes on to a “cooldown” of however many seconds Time was stopped for before she can attempt it again. However, multiple uses of her Quirk in rapid succession leaves her drained, hungry, and cold. If she pushes passed these, her skin actually begins to grow grey and necrotic, beginning in her fingers. If pushed passed that, she suffers seizures and promptly passes out for at least a day.
While in the Stopped Time, Misaki and anyone else who is holding her immediate hand may move and act as they please, so long as her hand remains linked. Any physical attacks performed have the full affect take place immediately after her Quirk ends. Projectile attacks may move, but freeze in time and space as soon as they leave Misaki’s maximum arm length.
Fighting style: Due to the nature of her Quirk, Misaki has focused her fighting style to incorporate kicking, headbutts, and body checking. She has recently started to try and make/use anesthetics in her battles as well against foes that she might be unable to deal with physically.
Personality: Misaki is a high strung individual and a perfectionist, insisting on everything being done correctly the first time. She grows despondent if not done so, and has a habit of overeating during these periods. If she feels like she isn’t doing something correctly, she will often use her Quirk for the momentary break in action to think things out. Or cheat in one case. Misaki is no longer allowed to take written tests with the other students because of her need for perfection and Quirk power. She abhors being late or lateness on others parts. She is also highly empathetic to others, and cannot stand to see them upset or down in any manner. She is a people-pleaser, but does understand the responsibility of her Quirks power, staunchly refusing to use it for what she terms, “frivolous and inappropriate things”. However, she can and does give out “Breathers” to other people, moments when she allows them the full ten seconds in her Stopped Time to just relax and center themselves before having to return to the moving world.
Other Facts: She enjoys salty, crunchy foods and gummy sweets. The sound of ticking clocks soothes her. Due to one incident where she couldn’t free her hands during a fight, she has incorporated rigid, easy slip off gloves into her wardrobe to prevent her hands from being trapped. She cannot stand horror movies or awkward humor. Her favorite animals are Mice. She is part Chinese on her Fathers side. She is Bisexual. She is rather good at making chocolate as her Quirk allows extra time to fix whatever errors might occur during the delicate processes.
