politics is knowing exactly what the endgame of your series looks like, but getting there is a bitch, and small details are kiran is not human period. but also realizing you're crafting a universe were fae and gods exist in the same world and coexist and it gets tricky. its honestly giving myself wonderland vibes.

Misc Ttte au stuff (about Stanley):

Introduced the gang to the 4th of July (He is patriotic).

"What do you mean you've never tried [American Food]? We gotta get you a [American Food Item] on god."

Smokes cigars/cigarettes and always smells like cigarette smoke.

Tallest narrow gauge guy by a significant margin. He's a big guy.

He's like if a jock was a werewolf and was good at fighting/killing, and was a general grump.

"Hop in, we're going on a late night gas station run."

Didn't know how to process his feelings for Monty (the Mine Engine) before he was converted to a pumping engine. After he was recovered from the mine and repaired, he went through a tsundere period as he processed his feelings for Monty. They are a lovey-dovey couple.

Is so tall, that he will bump his head against the doorframe if he isn't paying attention.

Has claws, very big, very sharp teeth.

Midnight snack haver...and unironic pumpkin spice latte enjoyer. Very hungry guy.

Easily flustered by Monty.

It should be noted, while most of my original characters have adapted to Earth if they have gotten there and lived there long enough, there are still details that will get exposed the longer you know them. Hints of their homeland and other things. It also should be said, no mere mortal from Earth could reach their homeland and it's in a different given galaxy and most humans would not understand the concept of how portals work either. It's just something people of Kiran's homeland know and are used to.

Oh man, he has PLENTY… though they’re usually ones he can laugh at himself over not soon after if his company isn’t too annoyed by it.

An ultimate embarrassing moment that really sticks out to this day for him is when he confessed his feelings to Darlene. Did not go at all as anticipated, and sometimes he still finds himself laying awake at night replaying that shit in his head, as if things could have been different if only he had approached the situation differently. But alas… it was a canon event.

❤️ - How did your muse come to realize their romantic and sexual orientations? Was it difficult to accept? Are they proud of who they are?

Butch came to realize his attractions weren’t conventional somewhere in his early teens; whether this is due to some negative experiences he’s had is unknown, and there unfortunately were plenty. Men didn’t exactly jump at the opportunity back then, repressed by cultural expectations and all, and flirting would often end in a violent exchange—eventually he just started taking it in stride, taking what he could get… though that was years after strictly sticking to women for a long while.

He began to view sex as sex and attraction as just that, attraction. He found that he had “types” but they weren’t at all limited to gender. Though this took quite a while for him to fully grasp this part of him. Often times, after the fact, shame is still present but he’s not open about any of it. Ever.

It was very difficult for him to accept considering the time period he’s from and the heavy expectation from his father who was very toxic and one note about masculinity and how life was “supposed” to be. Live, work hard, make a family, and encourage the next of kin to do the same.

I wouldn’t at all say he’s proud of who he is; there’s a lot of self hatred and disgust intertwined with how he goes about his affairs and relationships with others, it’s just easier to ignore in the moment.

🎸 - Can your muse play any instruments? Do they play them often, or rarely? How actually skilled are they at playing them?

Butch’s main instrument is the guitar, though because of this, he can play near any stringed instrument within reason. A banjo, a bass, and a ukelele being main ones… he’s real good with his fingers! Man can play Roundabout by Yes near perfectly if ever given the opportunity if that tells you anything, lmao.

🎶 - What kind of music does your muse listen to? Do they have a favorite genre? Do you think the aux cord would be taken away from them?

Since entering the 21st century and catching up on everything he’s missed out on, you can imagine his mind was blown when he learned he didn’t have to physically go somewhere to see a live band to hear to music. While he has tastes for all kinds of music, his favorite no doubt are cheesy over dramatic 80’s classic hits. He's a sucker for old country and country rock too, but theres something about the passion in those 80's hits that gets him.

aux cord would definitely be taken away; mans the type or person to put the same song on REPEAT 10 times because it gives him the same level of seretonin every time.

Butch’s singing voice is pleasant though it’s nothing angelic, it’s nice to listen to and suits the little diddys he comes up with on his guitar. He sings VERY OFTEN as he’s always playing his guitar, whether it’s just to be doing something with his hands or he’s actually writing a song (I use to”write” loosely because he never actually writes anything down; just assumes he’ll remember it later which sometimes can be the case).

As for singing in front of a crowd, if he really wanted to he definitely could! More so for fun than anything else. Get my mans up there on a kareoke night, he’ll bring his guitar in tow!
