Someone submitted this post or suggested for me to read it and I managed to not mark down that person's URL, so I apologize. 

The story jumps around in terms of POV - it starts from Ginny's and moves on to several others, including that of Bill and Charlie. 

I really like the author's examination of Ginny's relationship with all her brothers and their functioning as a family. I really enjoy Ginny's character and it's nice to read something that does her justice. It's a pretty old fic, so it's not 100% canon compliant, but there's nothing that's too out there really. 

Definitely a good read for Hinny shippers and Ginny Weasley supporters :) (Which everyone should be, honestly, but that's a story for another day).

In response to your message - I have posted some Ted/Andromeda, though not much. I really enjoy cokebottleglassesarecool's Tedromeda Fic, How The Badger Courts The Snake, but otherwise, I haven't found much else I like. 

Anyway, I am so glad you submitted this fic. It's really fantastic. I love the Tedromeda interaction, since their ship is SO interesting and complex, but I also love the interaction of the Black sisters. Their relationship was complicated as well, and I really loved this author's interpretation of their family. 

I highly recommend this one to Remadora and Tedromeda shippers, even if it seems to be an abandoned story. There's still a LOT there (the four chapters are very long) and it doesn't end on a horrible cliffhanger or anything. I got a lot out of reading this! 

I will address the other fic you submitted in a separate post once I get to it! :)

I usually don't go out of my way to read Draco and Astoria fics, but I also don't oppose the pairing, either. When K mentioned to me that she'd be taking a shot at writing the pairing, I knew I had to give it a try because she's fantastic and she already had gotten me interested in a pairing I'd never given much thought to before, either (Ted/Andromeda).

Draco Malfoy is a very interesting character. I've always thought so. But, most fics I've come across don't begin to scratch the surface of how complex of a character he is. Plus, I can't stand to read Dramione, so I usually steer clear of anything that could go that way. K does a great job of addressing his depth of character in this fic so far, and I really really love her Astoria as well. There's literally nothing to go on except her marriage to Draco, so it takes a lot of creativity to write a strong character from that.

This fic is definitely worth a read if you're looking for something different. I'm sure it won't be a super long fic, but it'll be a multi-chapter for sure. I really love it so far!

AWESOME FIC ALERT!!!!!!!

Katie has officially posted the Prologue to her incredibly intriguing fic, In Fields of Poppies! She has asked me to help with beta-reading this fic and I am beyond excited!

Her description is as follows:

Her grandfather's war and her father's war were fought with metal and manpower. Hers was done with magic.

The story will take us through three generations of Evans' who have experienced war--Lily, her father, and her grandfather. The prologue sets us up wonderfully, comparing the three types of warfare that the Evans family endured. I think this story will be a unique perspective on Lily Evans and the struggles she faced and bring a new depth to her story that only fanfiction can bring :)
