An old travel spread from Memorial Day weekend I forgot to post.
I'm moving into my new house in only 4 days and I'm so exhausted and excited!!! Here's my moving checklist and a spread from a while ago 😘
Today I’ve been journaling and relaxing, and upon reflection I decided to make a spread about recommitting to all of the healthy habits I’ve developed over the past year or so. My partner and I are getting ready to move into a new house on the 22nd, and with all that’s been going on, we’ve been eating a whole lot of take out and spending almost all of our down time watching tv. There’s nothing wrong with that, but I do want to steer myself back to the nurturing self care activities that have gotten me so far.
If you are trying to make similar changes, I would recommend making something like this to motivate yourself! Just looking at these pages makes me happy and excited to do all of the healthy things I’ve listed. NOTE: If you have anxiety or other mental health issues, a contract style like this may be too stressful for you. It was for me when I first started out. Instead, you could write a letter to yourself or put encouraging quotes next to the goals you’ve set. And remember, you can recommit as many times as you need to. I generally do something like this every 6 months or so.
***I’ve included a picture of a themed journal that I picked up at Target, the Carpe Diem journal. This is the kind of motivational book that I’ll buy with the sole intent of RIPPING OUT EVERYTHING and using it in my own journal. The cute lined paper on this spread is paper that was taken from the Carpe Diem journal. A lot of the images and paper I use in my journal are taken from similar books!
